From mental health support system to Global solutions
Born in 2020 at the peak of COVID-19 pandemic, it all began as an indoor creative outlet during a period of mandatory curfews, with the aim to support mental wellness and generate income amidst economic uncertainty. Through fabric waste collection and repurposing, two youths (Aurelia and Zeck) turned textile waste into functional pieces and not only reduced environmental impact, but also promoted a circular economy. What started as individual hobby labeled “vessels of hope” has since grown into ECOVESSELS; a dynamic community powered project with a bold vision for environmental and social impact. As a youth- and women-led social enterprise based in Kenya, we are dedicated to sustainable textile innovation, community empowerment, and creative expression.
To date, ECO VESSELS is more than a brand; it is redefining fashion and gifting through creativity, sustainability and purpose. Through a team of local community members, we design and produce a wide range of eco-conscious products.
Creating eco-conscious business environment that transforms local skills into meaningful livelihoods through upcycling, training, and responsible production.
To build a world of creative expressions and identity through sustainable products that empower local communities and inspire global solutions.
